Delivery Information

Do you ship to my city and location?

All products will be delivered F.O.R. destination within India (subject to Pin code)

- Certain areas will be subject to Shipping charges extra and certain very remote areas may not be serviced at all.


What is the estimated delivery time?

Products are typically dispatched within a day or two of order confirmation. Delivery will be made in a minimum of 48 hours (mostly major metros) and a maximum of 10 working days, except for remote interior areas, which may take a few days more.

All the products are transported and delivered using the respective vendor delivery network.

While we try to ensure that the product reaches you within the delivery time communicated, exigencies may delay the delivery. In such cases, please do not worry. Get in touch with us for the latest update on your shipment if we have already not gotten in touch with you.


Are there any shipping charges or any additional hidden charges?

No, shipments are generally free of charge. Subject to pincode, you may be charged a small amount as Shipping. Shipping details (including charges, if any) can be found out when you wish to check out your cart by entering your destination pincode.


How do I track my order?

We try our best to deliver your product well within 7 days of your order. In a few cases however, we take closer to our promised 8-15 days for delivery. In such cases, we proactively call / email the customer to inform them of the status of their product. In the rare case when you have not received any communication from us for 9 days after order please give us a call at our customer care number or email us at hello@kartabed.com.


What should I check when the product is delivered to me?

Please check for all the following items when the product is delivered to you:

  • Please check the external packaging for any damages like holes/tears which has resulted in product damage.
  • Once the product is unpacked, please check for any damages to the fabric/quilt like discoloration of fabric, wet patches, dirt, tailoring mistakes.
  • Please check that the product, especially mattresses, has not been bent, rolled or folded.
  • Keep the packaging material safely for some time in case you wish to return the product.
  • Also keep freebies accompanying the product (if any) to be returned in case of return of the product.

Once the product is delivered and our delivery team leaves your location, we will be able to only honor manufacturing defects as described by the guarantee/warranty policy.


What if I have received a damaged product?

We associate ourselves only with vendors who have highly specialized quality control measures that ensure that the product is up to the best of industry standards when you receive the product. In case, you receive a damaged product (damage as defined by the situations in the prior question), please bring it to the notice of the delivery personnel immediately. We will get the damage assessed and revert within 1-2 days with a solution. We will either replace the piece or take any other corrective measure to solve the problem.


What if I do not like the product or cannot take delivery of my order? Can I cancel the order?

We, at Kartabed, try to ensure that you get what you see on our website. We do not offer exchanges (unless the product was damaged on arrival) and refunds for order cancellations.

In the rare case when you absolutely don't like the product or have some unforeseen circumstances that make you cancel the order, you have to raise the same at the time of delivery. The following restocking fees are applicable:

For products priced less than Rs. 10000

  1. In case you want to exchange the item for a different product that is priced lesser by more than Rs. 1000, then there is no additional charge but no money will be returned
  2. In case you want to exchange the item for a different product that is priced up to Rs. 1000 lesser than the current item, then an additional charge of Rs. 1000 less the differential price between two items will be levied
  3. In case you want to exchange the item for a product that is priced equal to or more than the current product, then an additional charge of Rs. 1000 plus the differential price will be levied
  4. In case you absolutely want to cancel your order and don't want any other products, then a cancellation charge of Rs. 2000 or the shipping charge to and from the vendor, whichever is higher, will be levied against your order

For products priced above Rs. 10000

  1. In case you want to exchange the item for a different product that is priced lesser by more than Rs. 2500, then there is no additional charge but no money will be returned
  2. In case you want to exchange the item for a different product that is priced up to Rs. 2500 lesser than the current item, then an additional charge of Rs. 2500 less the differential price between two items will be levied
  3. In case you want to exchange the item for a product that is priced equal to or more than the current product, then an additional charge of Rs. 2500 plus the differential price will be levied
  4. In case you absolutely want to cancel your order and don't want any other products, then a cancellation charge of Rs. 5000 or the shipping charge to and from the vendor, whichever is higher, will be levied against your order

For Customised Orders: 

We manufacture mattresses against a particular order that you have placed, and hence ask you to prepay the entire cost upfront online; we cannot offer exchanges or cancellations of any kind on such orders.

FOR ALL PRODUCTS: 

Once we have delivered the product and left the customer's premises, we will NOT be able to accommodate any cancellation or change requests (other than as covered by the service warranty). What is the process if there is a manufacturing defect in the product I have purchased?

We, at Kartabed, try to ensure that you get the best quality products direct from manufacturer. In the rare case of there being a manufacturing defect, if it is within the product warranty period, we will contact the manufacturer and inform them. After that it is the manufacturer's responsibility to ensure that the product is serviced properly/replaced. If still unsatisfied, the customer can demand a refund. Kartabed will refund the amount paid by the customer less the shipping charges.

In the event of a customer not wanting a refund, we can hold the amount and the customer can purchase another product from our site.
